Description:The Flagstaff KOA is a beautiful mountain campground set at 7000 feet among tall ponderosa pine trees at the base of the San Francisco Peaks. We are looking for enthusiastic and outgoing people to join our outdoor guest service team. Located off Route 66, The Flagstaff KOA is just an hour from the beautiful Red Rocks of Sedona and Oak Creek Canyon, an hour and a half from the South Rim of the Grand Canyon and a short 15 minute drive from Northern Arizona University. We are open year-round offering camping in RVs, Cabins, Deluxe Cabins, tents & Teepees. Our goal is to create a great camping experience for our guests by offering excellent customer service. • Part Time/Seasonal
• 20-40 hours/week depending on the occupancy of the park
• Scheduled hours can be 7am-10pm
• Most hours will be scheduled in the afternoon-evening, on weekends & holidays
• $17.40/hour

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensures customers receive a high level of service consistent with our customer service philosophy
• Help to ensure the safety of guest and campground property with attentive observation and action
• Coordinate with Office staff for late guest arrivals
• Coordinate with office staff for problem resolution when available
• Learn and operate Campground Management system
• Communicate with all staff and management using Microsoft Teams
• Enforce campground policies and implement solutions consistent with goals of park
• Proactive guest management to ensure positive environment for all guests
• Welcome after hours guests and complete check in process
• Light custodial work to maintain high standard of cleanliness in all facilities
• Daily cleaning and sanitizing of guest restrooms
• Clean and prepare accommodation units for guests including but not limited to: linens, kitchen wares, BBQs, bathroom & living room
• Filling LP gas tanks during office hours
• Complete various duties as assigned by manager which can include but are not limited to: light janitorial duties, assisting other departments in completion of tasks, overall support in daily performance of the campground.

Requirements:

• Good customer service and communications skills

• Able to work with others and work independently

• Licensed Driver-able to operate light vehicles safely on and off property

• Professional Appearance and attitude towards guests and fellow team members

• Communicate professionally and patiently

• Be on your feet during shift and able to lift at least 50 lbs.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

• General knowledge of maintenance and use of common repair tools
