**NEW OUTPATIENT CENTER**

Outpatient Orthopedic Physical Therapist - South Tampa, FL

Select Physical Therapy\'s newest OP Ortho center is in South Tampa! We have experienced clinicians on staff seeking a fourth full time physical therapist. This is a full time position treating weekdays with some evenings until 7 pm. Our specialty skilled clinicians are open to consider new graduates and experienced PTs alike. We can offer mentorship and our diverse caseload of teens through geriatric will help you grow. We treat a variety of diagnoses to include sports medicine and neuro on top of general orthopedics. We average 9-11 patients per day giving you true 1:1 time. Hours Needed: Full Time. Monday through Friday 40 hours with some days treating until 7 pm. No weekends.

Compensation. Starting at $70,000/yr commensurate with experience!

Responsibilities

• Understand appropriate state practice acts and adhere to the laws which govern how physical therapists may practice and whom physical therapists may supervise.
• Complete and maintain all corporate & clinical services required training and maintain compliance with state/local/federal regulations.
• Evaluate, treat, and direct treatment for patients for whom physical therapy is medically necessary and document this need clearly.
• Maintain open and respectful communication with co-workers, physicians, patients, family members, and third-party payors at all times.
• Attend and/or participate in facility meetings as directed by the center manager (may include utilization review, infection control, disaster preparedness, etc.)

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) accredited school of physical therapy
• Valid State Physical Therapy License/ Registration REQUIRED to start
• Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification required.
