Summary

Territories Include: Massachusetts, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Vermont, Maine, New Hampshire and Upstate New York

Position Responsibilities:

• Promote Sunbelt Government Department as a trusted source for sales support for District and Profit Centers territory and revenue development
• Identify, develop, and nurture government relationships with companies and individuals within the field territories
• Review State & Local equipment rental/purchasing contracts within government sector
• Coordinate all transactions from other Outside Sales Representatives for work done with any Federal Government Entity (FGE)
• Aid in the design of any reports necessary to monitor all contracts with FGEs in order to ensure compliance
• Develop new business and interact with existing government customers to increase revenue
• Develop and promote brand recognition to government customers
• Capture leads for private contractors involved with outsourced government projects
• Monitor industry trends with the potential to benefit the Public Sector

Requirements:

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience
• Five (5) years of experience in an inside or outside sales role
• Ability to incorporate the Specialty Businesses into their presentations and product offerings. Specific specialty product training to be provided by the various Sunbelt experts \xe2\x80\x93 Industrial Resource Group, Scaffolding, Power & Pump, Compressed Air Solutions, Ashtead Technologies
• Willingness to work in an early-stage program with expectations towards sustainable growth
• Ability to travel within territory 2-3 days per week by car
• Willingness to be available on an on-call basis during times of natural disaster and emergency
• Strong understanding of the government and procurement process
• Great knowledge of state contract(s), as well as other cooperative contracts
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
• Wynne Rental Man experience preferred

Physical Demands:

Must be able to bend, squat, crouch and/or reach and lift up to 25 pounds or more, as required by the job. Some Sunbelt jobs may require driving for long periods of time, loading and unloading heavy equipment, performing work in extreme weather conditions including rain, wind or excessive temperatures and/or night and weekend work. All duties must be performed according to Sunbelt\xe2\x80\x99s safety policies and guidelines. Reasonable accommodations may be made to comply with ADA/ADAAA.

Base Pay Range: $40,000.00 - 72,558.00

Total compensation package includes base pay plus robust commission plan.
