Job Description

TRC Professional Solutions is seeking a full-time Paint Process Engineering Assistant Manager for a major motor vehicle manufacturer at their first dedicated EV mass-production plant!

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
[ Paint shop operation and Management]
\xc2\xb7 Set the various targets in the paint shop and make activities to achieve the targets of the paint shop. And oversee development and achievement of them.
(Targets: Number of units produced, Quality index & HPV, etc.) * HPV: Hour Per Vehicle
\xc2\xb7 Analyze production and quality data, improve the productivity and car paint quality.
\xc2\xb7 Analyze production rate of operation and make activities for operation improvement.
\xc2\xb7 Review items for supplementary investment to improve the paint shop or process and the cost, and run.
\xc2\xb7 Coordinate and supervise the work of operators; provide them with feedback on performance. (including train and manage Team member)
\xc2\xb7 Report the progress of major tasks to a superior or expatriate coordinator.
\xc2\xb7 Report to the immediate superior (or expatriate coordinator) and/or other related production lines if any product or process nonconformity is detected

[ Plant construction and Preparation for new model production. Facility enhancement]
\xc2\xb7 Manage the construction progress schedule of the paint shop.
\xc2\xb7 Preparing for the input of new models in paint shop. (Facility modification, tool preparation etc.)
\xc2\xb7 Oversee inspect and manage new model project progress.
\xc2\xb7 Performs events for new vehicle development, and Prepare production operations
(facility/employee, etc.)
\xc2\xb7 Management for installing new facility about new technology and trial run.
\xc2\xb7 Management for replacing existing old facility and trial run.
\xc2\xb7 Analyze production and quality data during new car production, make countermeasures for quality and productivity enhancement.
\xc2\xb7 Reporting major issues occurring in paint shop (making report materials needed)
\xc2\xb7 Review purchase specifications for production of new vehicle, and run
(Including transportation/customs clearance)

[ Profitability improvement]
\xc2\xb7 Promotes changes in process through analyses and improve processes, seeing to the rectification of the tools used in order to optimize the manufacturing process.
(HPV, Automation, Outsourcing, etc.)
\xc2\xb7 Develop strategies to reduce cost, and performs cost reduction activity.
(Labor costs, Material costs, Management costs, Energy savings, Improvement of inefficient
work, etc.)
\xc2\xb7 Search and support the new level of control and new methods of others

Develop recruitment planning for paint shop member and performs.
\xc2\xb7 Develop and implement an employee training plan.
\xc2\xb7 Improve the environment of the paint shop and prevent safety accidents.
\xc2\xb7 Taking action safety regulation issues.
\xc2\xb7 Build a good rapport with other manufacturing units for effective communication.
\xc2\xb7 Strengthen organizational power through communication among employees.
\xc2\xb7 Provide guidance and assistance to technicians at a lower level.

Qualifications and Preferences
\xc2\xb7 Bachelor\'s degree (mechanical, chemical, material Engineering majors)
\xc2\xb7 3+ years of job-related experience.
\xc2\xb7 Experience using Microsoft Office products or equivalent applications
\xc2\xb7 Deep understanding of external markets and current trends
\xc2\xb7 Extensive knowledge and experience in data analysis and developing proposal
Preferred:
\xc2\xb7 Job experience related to the automotive industry
