Hours:

• Full- time: Monday-Friday, 7:00am \xe2\x80\x93 3:30pm with weekend rotation

Duties and responsibilities:

Reports to and will work under the supervision of the Director of Plant Operations. The painter is responsible for the restoration and painting of the physical structures of the facility, including general areas both inside and outside for the entire campus. Maintain grounds, physical structure and equipment in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with current federal, state and local standards, manufacturer guidelines and regulations.

• Apply various types of paints to building surfaces on a daily basis. Schedule with residents as required
• Install drywall, patch, plaster and tape surfaces when necessary. Move or cover furniture as required.
• Receive and follow maintenance schedule/instructions from your supervisor and as outlined in our established maintenance policies and protocols.
• Perform routine and preventative maintenance and repair on the facility and equipment to include plumbing, plastering, electrical, carpentry, mechanical, painting, etc., as directed, in accordance with established procedures. Address work orders properly and promptly.
• Perform routine maintenance on grounds, parking areas, driveways, etc., by cutting, trimming, policing, sweeping, etc., as necessary/directed.
• Remove snow and ice from sidewalks, stairs and entrances to facility.
• Perform/document unscheduled maintenance tasks as directed.
• Clean windows and screens as directed.
• Carry radio at all times on duty and ensure appropriate channel lock and volume.

Required skills and qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2-3 Years of prior experience of a professional painter
• Knowledge of different types of painting methods, applications, tools, etc.
• Valid Driver\xe2\x80\x99s License
