This position receives an additional $1.00 per each hour worked, not to exceed 8 hours per day.
The successful candidate will receive a 2% increase to their base hourly pay rate once the state of Alaska Title I qualification for paraprofessionals has been met and approved by ASD Talent Management.
Job Summary
The Special Programs Early Childhood & Elementary Paraprofessional Educator implements special education services and supports under the direction of a special education teacher. The paraeducator provides instruction assistance to special education students primarily in special education classrooms, but may support students in other settings within the schools. The position has a retirement association with the Public Employees\xe2\x80\x99 Retirement System (PERS).
