The , , Horticulture Services Branch, Arboriculture Section, located at 3902 Paki Avenue, is looking for an International Society of Arboriculture Certified Arborist (or one who will obtain the credential before completion of probation) to lead multiple arboriculture crews to maintain City trees throughout the island. Plan, assign, schedule, and monitor your arboriculture crews and contractors to ensure their performance and work meet the City\'s high standards. Investigate requests and complaints from the public, utility companies, private groups and governmental agencies regarding all issues related to the City\'s trees. Not only will you be performing supervisory arboriculture work, but you will also manage your staff by preparing and issuing annual performance reports. If necessary, conduct staff investigations for possible disciplinary actions. Be ready to start early since work hours are Monday through Friday, 6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.Special Working Conditions: Required to respond to emergency work which may be performed in inclement or extreme weather, working under or near fallen trees, exposed to traffic under poor visibility conditions, securing areas of electric lines felled by trees, off-road conditions, after hours, nights, weekends, and holidays.
