Part- Time Speech Language Pathologist

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate School Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team, in a part-time capacity, at 2 elementary schools in Needham, Massachusetts. As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will play a crucial role in assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech and language disorders in students. In this role, you will work collaboratively with educators, parents, a team of district SLP\xe2\x80\x99s and other professionals to ensure students receive the support they need to succeed academically and socially. Responsibilities:
  • Completes evaluations to assess speech needs and areas of growth for students in the school setting.
  • Assist case manager with developing student Individualized Education Plan (IEP) tailored to each student\xe2\x80\x99s needs and goals.
  • Provide direct and indirect speech and language services to identified students within the diverse learning program.
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers and other staff to meet the students\' speech and/or language needs.
  • Observe students and collect data to measure progress and adjust treatment plans.
  • Communicate regularly with parents, sharing progress updates and providing strategies for continued support at home.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Master\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited university
  • DESE License in the state of Massachusetts
