  • Handle all parts requests and process orders using company software systems.
  • Ensure warehouse is safe, organized and clean from debris.
  • Monitor stock levels and notify purchasing agent when below standard stocking levels.
  • Assemble parts from stock and place orders on pallets or shelves or relocate orders to a holding area to prepare for shipping.
  • Utilize appropriate hand tools to safely open crates and other containers.
  • Assist in counting of physical inventory as needed.
  • Ensure inventory is properly maintained always by following and completing adjustment slips.
  • Assist with core shipping as needed.
  • Assist in sorting and placing materials or items on racks, shelves or in bins according to company procedures and move materials and items to designated areas as needed. Assist other departmental employees with accessing needed equipment, materials, and supplies as needed.
  • Other duties as business needs require.
Qualifications:Job RequirementsEducation: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.Other: Must be able to operate a computer. Fork-lift certification will be required after hire.Experience: 2-3 years warehouse experience preferred, previous customer service experience preferred.Skills: Must be professional and safety minded at all times. Good communication skills. Good customer service skills. Ability to prioritize and multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment. Able to work with minimal supervision and direction. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.Job ConditionsPhysical: (These physical demands are representative of the physical requirements necessary for an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.) Requires regular lifting up to 50 lbs; occasional lifting up to and exceeding 75 pounds. Climbing, stretching, reaching, bending, squatting, walking, and some stairs. Must be able to operate motor vehicles such as forklifts.Environmental: Indoors with occasional outdoor duties. Shop/warehouse environment with expected noise and odors.
