Part-Time Maintenance Apprentice

We currently have, a Part-Time position open for company specific Maintenance Apprentice working first shift out of our Waterloo, IA facility, with the potential to develop into a full-time in the future. The apprentice position is focused on internal company teachings and is not affiliated with any educational institution. The Maintenance Apprentice will work with the rest of the maintenance team to provide support throughout the organization.

Qualifications:

• Beginner knowledge and continued willingness to learn all aspects of facility maintenance including, general maintenance, high-voltage industrial equipment, process gases, robotics, fabrication, welding, ect.
• Proven dependability
• Competent in math
• Willing to read and understand blueprints and schematics
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to follow instructions as required

Preferred Education/Experience:

• Current student pursuing a degree in:

• Maintenance Technology, Robotics, Welding, Fabrication, Heating & Cooling or related field OR a minimum of two years industrial maintenance experience.
