Part Time Temporary Instructional Assistant
Job Description
EXCELLENCE IN MOTION is seeking a passionate and experienced Instructional Assistant to facilitate activities with small groups of upper elementary students. The program combines Social Emotional Learning with kinesthetic math applications and conflict resolution to reinforce community. This part-time temporary position offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students' learning experiences. Qualified applicants will enjoy being active, promote collaboration, and have some experience with SEL instruction or curriculum.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate and supervise engaging activities for small groups of students.
- Assist in creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Support students in their academic and social development.
- Collaborate with teaching staff to implement lesson plans and activities.
- Maintain a safe and organized space for students to learn and grow.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $19.00 - $26.00 per hour
Expected hours: 5 per week
