Responsibilities
Performs basic patient care activities to patients in assigned area.
Assist with treatments ordered by physician and supervised by a Registered Nurse (RN).
Assist patients with tending to personal care and activities of daily living.
Report findings or changes in physical, mental and emotional conditions to nursing staff.
Assist with keeping patient rooms clean and orderly.
Requirements
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Nurse Aide credentialed from the Wisconsin Nurse Aide Registry obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Not required to maintain as the Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) does not expire for hospital settings.
Education:
Current enrollment in High School and qualification in the Youth Apprenticeship program per School requirements is required.
Work Experience:
No experience required; experience in job related field preferred.
Additional Preferences
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Current member in CNA registry in good standing and able to work in the state of Wisconsin.
Prefer hospital CNA experience
