Job Description

Department:-Virtual Safety MonitorFULL TIME (36 hours per week)- NIGHT SHIFT- 3- 12 hour shifts; 7PM - 7:30AM, Rotating Weekends & major holidays. Will work in an office setting. No hands on patient care.Henry Ford River District Hospital- East China, MIGENERAL SUMMARY

• Provide observation and surveillance of assigned patients.
• Monitor patients by use of video monitors.
• Communicate and/or instruct patients by use of 2-way audio device.
• Notify clinical staff of any changes in patient condition and/or safety risk level.
• Complete documentation of observations of patient activities, patient behaviors and other safety & comfort related issues.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

• High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required. - Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
