Position Summary
The patient service representative (PSR) will greet patients in a friendly and courteous manner, answer telephones, schedule appointments, and perform other overall general office duties as assigned. The PSR will also collect, verify, enter, and monitor patient data while complying with the federal, state and MaineHealth confidentiality policies.
Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
License/Certifications: Valid Maine driver\'s license.
Experience: Medical Office experience preferred.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Effective cash collection skills.
Ability to work well with others.
Computer proficiency.
Ability to organize and coordinate multiple activities.
Able to adapt to constant change and fast pace of group.
Ability to travel to other locations as needed.
