We at M Health Fairview are looking for a motivated, energetic individual to join our Patient Transport team at our University of Minnesota Medical Center East Bank Hospital in Minneapolis, MN.


About the position:

• 0.5 FTE (40 hours per pay period)
• evening shift (2:30pm-11:00pm)
• every other weekend (2:30pm-11:00pm)

Job Responsibilities:

Our patient transport team is responsible for:

• Transporting patients to and from locations throughout the University Campus to facilitate service and assure patient safety.
• Maintaining equipment and readiness to assure timely patient delivery.
• Demonstrating appropriate knowledge of safety protocols, infection control standards and emergency preparedness.
• Working with patients, families and all members of the medical team.
• Ensuring patient satisfaction by providing prompt and timely responses to all transport related tasks.
• Providing outstanding customer service to patients, families and all members of the medical team.

Qualifications:

Requirements:

• Strong communication skills.
• Current BLS certification
