We are seeking an enthusiastic professional to join our collaborative team as a Payroll Specialist. In this role, you will work with clients to process their payroll information while ensuring accuracy and a high level of service.

What you will be doing:

Performs tasks to establish and maintain employee/payroll records.

Check and audit timekeeping records for compliance with established standards.

Maintain time and attendance records.

Enter new hires into the payroll system.

Post changes in pay and tax status, and miscellaneous changes.

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent

Good math/accounting aptitude.

Office experience plus knowledge of 10-key and word processing and spreadsheet programs.

Proficiency in Lawson

Working towards CPP certification or completion of it an asset
