We are seeking a Personal Care Assistant - PCA with 3 years or more experience to provide in-home care

for a female client in Oxford, Connecticut (Private Residence).

Day Shift 9 am to 9 pm

Tuesday, Thursday, Friday

You will be part of a care team, working closely with our agency's care manager. You will be responsible for providing excellent quality of care following a comprehensive care plan. We value our employees.

Job Requirements

PCA, or CNA, HHA training Dementia/Alzheimer's care experience Driver's License, reliable car, auto insurance Pass a criminal background check (paid by agency)

Home Care Advantage is located in Danbury, Connecticut. We provide in-home assistance to our clients who wish to age in place and those recuperating from outpatient surgery or hospitalization. Our clients benefit from the social interaction, assistance with household chores, meal preparation, and safety that an experienced caregiver can provide. Many of our clients have one or more conditions including COPD, Diabetes, Parkinson's disease, Dementia, Alzheimer's disease, Cancer, Arthritis, Depression and Incontinence.

We hire experienced nursing students, and caregivers with professional experience which may include training, certification, or licensing as Certified Nurse Aides - CNA, Home Health Aide - HHA, Personal Care Assistants - PCA and Licensed Practical Nurses - LPN. For many of our jobs we are hiring immediately for full-time or part-time shifts. Our employees are caring, and compassionate. Many have been caregivers to their own family members. We work closely with our staff to provide high-quality care for our clients. We offer competitive hourly, and extended shift pay.
