Job Summary


We are seeking a full-time Pediatric Nurse for our Fayetteville Community Clinic, which provides quality, comprehensive primary health care. A current Arkansas nursing license and 1+ years of pediatrics experience is required.


Key Responsibilities


Maintains patient flow during clinic so as to assure prompt service for patients.
Obtains vital signs, measurements and laboratory tests accurately, as per protocol.
Obtains chief complaint and reason for visit using excellent listening skills.
Administers treatments and medications proficiently and safely.
Maintains exam room supplies and cleanliness for optimal efficiency.
Refers patients as appropriate, interacting with referral sources in a professional and cordial manner.
Triages unscheduled patients, telephone calls and other patient concerns using triage protocols and professional judgment as well as a warmth and concern for the patient's wellbeing. Documents all patient interactions completely and promptly in the medical record.
Refers patients to other providers as requested by clinicians; completes forms, maintains records of referral and follow-up of results and recommendations. Appropriately documents referral interactions in the medical record.


Qualifications


Graduate of a school of nursing.
Licensed to practice nursing in the state of Arkansas (LPN or RN)
Bilingual Spanish/English preferred
