Pediatrician

At Paterson Community Health Center (PCHC) our mission is to provide quality and respectful health care to the greater Paterson community, especially to the uninsured and underinsured. Paterson is the third largest city in New Jersey. PCHC operates two health centers that provide primary medical care and dental care in Paterson\xe2\x80\x99s most needy communities. PCHC serves the low-income (under 200% of poverty) and uninsured residents of Paterson and offers the sliding fee discount program. Through the years, we have remained committed in our mission and tradition of providing care in a compassionate manner, regardless of a patient\xe2\x80\x99s ability to pay. Services are provided to all patients in a sensitive and culturally appropriate manner. Uninsured patients are welcome and outreach efforts are designed to reach patients most in need of comprehensive and accessible medical care.

The Internal Medicine Provider is responsible for providing quality primary medical care to patients in accordance with the American College Internal Medicine or American Academy of Family Physicians standards.

Maintains compliance with State and Federal mandates.

Maintains compliance with FTCA standards.

Adheres to the polices, protocols and procedures of Paterson Community Health Center, Inc.

Timely completion of charts and encounters

Maintenance of productivity goal, medical charts, etc.

Required Certifications and License:

New Jersey State Board of Medical Examiners Licensed is required.

Active New Jersey CDS and DEA License to prescribe and maintain controlled substances.

Must have at least 2 years of experience.

Hours:

Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM \xe2\x80\x93 5:00 PM

Board of Directors

While the Paterson Community Health Center, Inc., is a privately owned, 501(03, non-profit organization, it receives significant funding from the Federal Government and thus is designated as a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC). As an FQHC organization the health center is requested to ensure that the majority of the health center\xe2\x80\x99s Board of Directors are health center patients. The health center\xe2\x80\x99s Board is (representative) of the health center patients and the Paterson, NJ community. By race and ethnicity, the board members are African-American, White, Latino and Middle Eastern. The board members bring to the health center a wealth of knowledge and experience in the fields of law, public safety, business, finance, health care and social services.
