Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Runner to join our team. The Runner will play a crucial role in supporting various Roofing projects by assisting skilled tradespeople with their tasks. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a basic understanding of construction processes and be eager to learn and grow within the industry.

Responsibilities

Assist construction teams by delivering tools, materials, and equipment to job sites as needed. Support skilled tradespeople with tasks such as caulking, drywall installation, and trim carpentry. Help maintain an organized work environment by ensuring tools and materials are stored properly. Participate in the setup and cleanup of job sites to ensure safety and efficiency. Follow blueprints and project specifications under the guidance of experienced team members. Operate power tools safely and effectively while adhering to all safety protocols. Assist with basic construction estimating by taking measurements and noting material requirements. Collaborate with team members to ensure project timelines are met. Fill out permit application and submit. schedule inspections expedite permits work with the cities

Skills

Basic knowledge of construction techniques including drywall installation, metal stud framing, and remodeling processes. Familiarity with blueprint reading to understand project layouts and specifications. Experience or willingness to learn caulking techniques for sealing gaps in various installations. Ability to use power tools safely and effectively for various tasks. Skills in trim carpentry for finishing touches on projects is a plus. Understanding of welding processes is beneficial but not required. Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Excellent communication skills to collaborate with team members efficiently.
