Duties:
- Assist with daily tasks and activities, providing support to individuals in need
- Implement and follow established systems and procedures
- Ensure resident rights and privacy are respected and maintained at all times
- Lift and transfer individuals as needed, following proper techniques and protocols
- Provide social work support, including emotional support and companionship
- Assist with childcare duties, including supervision and engaging in age-appropriate activities
- Support individuals with autism by implementing behavior management strategies
- Administer medication according to prescribed guidelines
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding as necessary Skills:
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with individuals of all ages and backgrounds
- Knowledge of social work principles and practices
- Experience working with children, particularly those with autism or special needs
