About us HeartlineVNC is owned and founded by Veterinary Technicians with 20+ years of experience in the veterinary/pet-sitting industry. The company strives to offer pet owners a higher standard of care for their pets. We focus on providing pet care services for our clients that will encourage a safe environment for the pet and provide peace of mind for the pet owner. We provide In-home veterinary nursing care services provided by experienced Registered Veterinary Technicians. We also provide Pet Sitting Services provided by experienced animal care professionals with experience, skills, and knowledge in the pet care industry. Our services are provided throughout Northern Colorado Duties: - Availabability for daily drop in pet care visits between the hours of 10am-1pm for potty walks and medication administration. -Must have Availability for overnight pet sitting stays in the clients home. All pet owners must meet a standard for your sitters to stay over night. - Provide exceptional care for pets in the absence of their owners
- Follow detailed instructions provided by pet owners regarding feeding, exercise, and medication administration
- Ensure pets are safe, comfortable, and well-cared for at all times
- Walk dogs and engage in playtime activities to provide exercise and mental stimulation
- Clean litter boxes, cages, and other pet areas to maintain cleanliness and hygiene
- Monitor pets for any signs of illness or distress and report any concerns to the pet owner
- Administer basic grooming tasks such as brushing, bathing, and nail trimming as needed
- Follow established protocols for handling emergencies or unexpected situations involving pets -Leaving home cleaner than you foundit. Treat the home as it was vacation rental. Take out the trash when you leave, clean all surface areas, put all dishes in dish washer and run, put all towles/bed sheets in the washer or laundry room. Make sure the home is clean and inviting before you leave. A pet owner does not want to come home to a dirty house. Skills: - Animal Behavior: Experience with pets who have behavioral issues such as anxiety, and fear, understand puppy behavior as well as senior dog behavior such as cognitive dysfunction.
- Pet care: Knowledge of proper nutrition, exercise, and general care for various types of pets
- Animal handling: Experience in safely handling different types of animals with varying temperaments
- Heavy lifting: Ability to lift and carry heavy bags of pet food or supplies as needed
- Dog training: Familiarity with basic dog training techniques to reinforce positive behaviors
- Animal Care: Understanding of basic veterinary procedures and ability to administer medications if necessary
- Kennel: Experience working in a kennel or similar environment providing care for multiple animals simultaneously
- Dog handling: Ability to handle dogs of all sizes and breeds confidently and safely If you are passionate about animals and have experience in pet care, we would love to hear from you.
