Full Time Position
POSITION QUALIFICATION/REQUIREMENTS:
Degree: Bachelor\'s degree in pharmacy.
Education:
Graduate from a college or university accredited by the Accreditation Council on Pharmaceutical Education (ACPE).
Have successfully completed an Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE) approved continuing education of at least 15 hours which maintains pharmacy skills and knowledge in the preceding two (2) years.
Certifications: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) hands on certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
Experience: Possess experience as a pharmacist for 12 months within the preceding 24 months.
Possess experience in the use of pharmacy computer systems such as the Navy TRIPHARM Computer System, the Composite Health Care System (CHCS) or retail pharmacy computer systems
Licensure: Possess a current and unrestricted license to practice as a pharmacist in any one of the 50 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, Guam, or the U.S. Virgin Island.
U.S. Citizenship: Shall be a U.S. citizen
English Language Requirement: Able to read, write, and speak English well enough to effectively communicate.
Physical Capability: Shall be physically capable of standing and/or sitting for extended periods of time and physically capable of performing all services required under the contract.
HOURS:
Pharmacist (Hospital and/or Scott Center) The hospital Pharmacy is open 24 hours a day, seven (7) days a week, 365 days a year, including all Federal Holidays. Scott Center hours are 0600 to 1800; however, HCWs shall rotate among both locations. Services shall be provided to cover all hours of the day. Shifts will normally be scheduled for an eight and half (8.5) to nine (9) hour period, to include an uncompensated thirty (30) minute to sixty (60) minute lunch break, respectively. Shifts will be on a rotated basis within the time ranges specified as clinical demand dictate. In no instance will the HCW be required to provide services in excess of eighty (80) hours per two-week period.

Must be comfortable in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Must be able and willing to reprioritize on short notice and work on multiple simultaneous projects. Flexible and able to work with various personalities. Team-work skills required. Time management skills required. The ability to meet deadlines in a deadline intensive environment is essential. High level of adaptability and willingness to embrace change in a fast-paced, demanding environment.
