:

Pharmacy Technician - Medical History, Providence Willamette Falls, Oregon City, Oregon. This is a part-time position offering (.87FTE), variable shifts.

$5,000 hiring bonus for eligible external hires that meet required qualifications and conditions for payment.

Shift Differentials: Evenings $1.75/hr | Nights $3.50/hr | Weekends $1.40/hr

The role of the Medication History Technician (MHT) is to conduct patient, family or caregiver interviews to obtain a list of medications a patient was taking prior to admission. The MHT may utilize other source of data to further investigate and complete an accurate medication list. The compiled medication list will be entered into the hospital\'s electronic medical record and verified by a registered pharmacist. On occasion, the MHT may be asked to perform pharmacy technician job duties as assigned.

Required qualifications:

• Upon hire: Oregon Certified Oregon Pharmacy Technician Or
• Upon hire: Oregon Pharmacy Technician License
• 2 years Experience as a certified Pharmacy Technician in retail or inpatient.

Preferred qualifications:

• Coursework/Training: Graduate of a Pharmacy Technician program.
• Coursework/Training: Must successfully complete Medication History Technician Competency Program.
• Experience with current pharmacy information systems (i.e. EPIC, Pyxis applications).

The amounts listed are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
