Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented

Phlebotomist

to join our healthcare team in Boise, ID. The ideal candidate will be responsible for collecting blood samples from patients, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in the process. This position requires adherence to safety protocols and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities:

Perform venipunctures and capillary punctures efficiently and safely. Collect, label, and process blood specimens for laboratory testing. Ensure proper patient identification and maintain accurate records. Follow infection control and safety procedures to prevent contamination. Communicate effectively with patients to ensure comfort and cooperation. Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to ensure timely specimen processing. Utilize EPIC/Beaker for documentation and order processing (training provided). Rotate holidays as required when they fall on a scheduled workday.

Requirements:

Certification as a Phlebotomist (CPT) preferred. Previous experience in a clinical or hospital setting. Proficiency in blood collection techniques and patient interaction. Ability to work early morning shifts and a flexible schedule. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Experience with EPIC/Beaker is a plus (training will be provided).
