:Obtains accurate and reliable blood and body fluid specimens from properly identified patients. Identifies phlebotomy difficulties, defines appropriate solutions and coordinates resources. • Education to meet certification, license or registration requirement.
• California Certified Phlebotomy Technician I License upon hire or,
• California Certified Phlebotomy Technician II License upon hire.
• 1 year - recent clinical experience as a certified phlebotomist
• 6 months - working in a high-volume setting as a certified phlebotomist
