Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Phlebotomist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for drawing blood samples from patients and preparing them for laboratory testing.
Responsibilities
Perform venipuncture and skin punctures to collect blood samples Label vials accurately and maintain patient records Follow proper protocols for specimen handling and processing Ensure patient comfort and safety during procedures Assist in maintaining a clean and organized work environment in the laboratory
Qualifications
Proficient in blood sampling techniques Knowledge of laboratory procedures related to phlebotomy Understanding of human anatomy and physiology Ability to accurately measure vital signs Experience working in a hospital or clinical laboratory setting is preferred Strong focus on patient service and care Certification to phlebotomize is a plus
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: From $22.00 per hour
Schedule:
8 hour shift Day shift Monday to Friday Rotating weekends
Work Location: In person
