AccuMark Diagnostics is hiring a part time phlebotomy technician. (Will be in office and home blood draws) *Will be required to do in office training/certification for drug testing.* *Must have phlebotomy experience* Responsibilities:
- Perform venipuncture and collect blood specimens from patients
- Follow proper aseptic technique and infection control protocols during specimen collection
- Label and process specimens for laboratory testing
- Maintain accurate records of patient information and test results
- Provide exceptional patient service and ensure patient comfort during the phlebotomy process
- Adhere to laboratory procedures and quality control standards
- Assist with other laboratory tasks as needed, including urine drug screens and breath alcohol testing (will train) Skills:
- Proficient in venipuncture and specimen collection techniques
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy
- Excellent patient care skills, including the ability to put patients at ease during the phlebotomy process
- Familiarity with laboratory procedures and specimen processing
- Attention to detail and accuracy in recording patient information and test results Note: Certification as a Phlebotomy Technician may be required for this position. Job Type: Part-time Healthcare setting:
