We believe strongly in the importance of work-life balance for all of our team.At Aquacare Physical Therapy our Orthopedic Residency consists of advanced post-professional education in the specialty area of orthopedic physical therapy partnering with Evidence in Motion. Our curriculum is designed to provide post-professional clinical and didactic education to develop highly skilled evidence-based clinicians.What Can you Expect?

  • A 12\xe2\x80\x93month or 18-month program providing advanced clinical education/skills/experience/mentorship.
  • One-on-one mentorship with a board-certified clinician.
  • Structured faculty-led clinical and didactic education to improve your clinical practice and decision-making.
  • 4 laboratories intensive in the area of Cervico-Thoracic, Lumbar-Pelvic, Upper Extremity, and Lower Extremity.
  • Course assistance in passing the OCS Exam.

  • Licensed as a Physical Therapist by the Delaware state Board of Physical Therapy Examiners and/or part of the PT compact program.
  • Graduate of an accredited university with a minimum degree of Bachelor\'s in Physical Therapy that is recognized by the APTA.
  • Basic Life Support CPR Certification
License/Certification:
  • Physical Therapy License (Required)
  • CPR Certification (Preferred)

Physical Requirements:
  • Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times
  • Duties require extensive standing and walking
