Overview:At Elkhorn Valley Rehabilitation Hospital, our hospital has been ranked in the Top 10% nationally for rehabilitative care for 14 years and has earned The Joint Commissionxe2x80x99s Stroke Certification and Certification in Hip Rehabilitation. At our 40-bed hospital, we provide specialized inpatient and outpatient rehabilitative services to our patients, serving Wyoming and neighboring states. Qualifications:Required Skills:xc2xb7 Current licensure as a Physical Therapist required.xc2xb7 Basic Life Support/CPR Certification required.xc2xb7 One year of direct patient care experience in a hospital setting preferred.Additional Qualifications/Skills:xc2xb7 Knowledge of clinical operations and procedures.xc2xb7 Demonstrates an understanding of treatment costs and financial support as they relate to quality and efficiency.xc2xb7 Demonstrates competency in the provision of care according to established standards and in a developmentally appropriate manner.xc2xb7 Demonstrates general computer skills including: data entry, word processing, email, and record management.xc2xb7 Leadership skills in delegating, organizing, and educating coworkers and staff.xc2xb7 Effective organizational and time management skills.xc2xb7 Effective written and verbal communication skills.xc2xb7 Ability to maintain proper levels of confidentiality.xc2xb7 Ability to work closely and professionally with others.xc2xb7 Ability to maintain quality, safety, and/or infection control standards.Are you interested in relocating? Responsibilities:Provides services that help restore function, improve mobility, relieve pain, and prevent or limit permanent physical disabilities of patients suffering from injuries or disease. Examines patient's medical history, evaluates their physical abilities, determines their potential to respond to therapy, and develops treatment plans. Integrates the hospitalxe2x80x99s mission and xe2x80x9cGuiding Principlesxe2x80x9d into daily practice.
