Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing quality care and rehabilitation services to patients in need.
Responsibilities:
follow the treatment plans set by the Physical Therapist
Provide hands-on therapy and exercises to promote physical recovery
Educate patients and their families on at-home exercises and self-care techniques
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
Communicate well with the RN, PT, ST, and OT respectively
Qualifications:
State licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant
Experience in hospital medicine, geriatrics, acute care, and orthopedics preferred
Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology
Excellent patient care and communication skills
