The Physician Liaison develops and maintains strong relationships with target Physicians/ Practices throughout the region through the successful execution of network growth plans. Additionally, the liaison will participate in strategic planning and identification of physician targets to achieve this growth through utilization of ChristianaCare\xe2\x80\x99s data analytic tools. This position is also responsible for relationship management with existing network Participants.The successful candidate will possess a bachelor\'s degree in business or healthcare, with 5-8 years\' experience in provider relations, relationship management, sales, and/or account management. In addition, the candidate must be able to attend early and late meetings as necessary.Principal duties and responsibilities:Recruitment of New Private Practices into the Clinically Integrated NetworkUses market knowledge and network participation criteria to develop lists of prospective providers for recruitment.Uses a variety of sales techniques to outreach to and establish key contacts at targeted practices.Conducts network development meetings to explain the benefits of participation with the aim of recruiting high-quality providers who will be actively engaged.Manages the recruitment process thru completion with each targeted practice including managing the prescribed close-out steps based on whether or not the prospect is interested in participating in the network.Recognized by internal stakeholders as the field extension of the Population Health leadership team, and the primary market intelligence contributor for network and program development planning.Effectively prioritizes outreach efforts to maximize quality time with targeted physicians to drive growth.Stays current on network policies and procedures, insurance company requirements, industry trends to have meaningful dialog with providers.Records all network development activity into CRM on a routine basis and meets or exceeds with defined outreach metrics developed by Population Health leadership. Completes timely and comprehensive network development reports as directed from Director of Provider Relations and other Pop Health LeadersRelationship Management with Current Network ParticipantsServes as the overall relationship manager between the CA and its Participants, acts as an escalation point for questions, concerns, and support.Ensures a seamless experience for Participants by working with various other members of the Population Health outreach team to ensure a well-coordinated and coherent experience for the Participant.Manages the onboarding process for new Participants by liaising between the practice and Population Health service teams.Maintains a regular presence in the Facility/s and/or with the clinicians whom the liaison represents.Attends routine meetings between the Participants and various Population Health outreach teams to ensures both the Participant and outreach team\xe2\x80\x99s requests are reasonable, well-coordinated and completed within the specified timeframe.Anticipates and pro-actively addresses issues that will impact the Participants\xe2\x80\x99 experience; escalates to director for support whenever necessary.Works closely with leadership and Population Health service areas to play a key role in the remediation process of network Participants who are not meeting Participation or performance requirements.Engages and coordinates efforts with physician liaison team caregivers outside of Population HealthWhen you become an employee at ChristianaCare, you are joining a robust healthcare organization that truly cares about their patients and their caregivers.
