We are assisting our client, a growing physical medicine and rehabilitation practice thatprovides cutting-edge diagnosis and treatment for brain injuries, and regenerative andrestorative treatments in hiring a Certified Physician Assistant. Our team of practitioners worksclosely with each patient to create and implement a detailed, humanistic treatment plan thatconsiders all aspects of a patient\xe2\x80\x99s condition, to reach one goal- improving our patient\xe2\x80\x99s qualityof life by helping them achieve functional independence.Our incredible culture, stellar reputation, and amazing team separate us fromthe competition!Located in Sacramento, this esteemed physical medicine and rehabilitation practice isstrategically building on its long-standing reputation for excellence by seeking a PA-C with anentrepreneurial mindset who exhibits high professionalism is a team player and has anaptitude for learning. The PA-C will provide patient care and supervise medical assistants. Thisthe position will require some travel to satellite clinics.Our employee compensation and benefits package show how much we value our team!

  • $50 - $60 hourly
  • Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance

Schedule
  • Non-Exempt, Full Time, 8 am - 5 pm
  • 1-3 days monthly travel may be required to our satellite offices
Licenses
  • NCPPA accredited and active Physician Assistant license
  • Must obtain a Nevada PA License within 60 days of start date
ResponsibilitiesPatient Care
  • Patient Contact (Consults and F/Ups)
  • Responsible for examining and treating patients
  • Conduct physical examinations
  • Prescribe and/or administer treatment and medication
  • Monitor the behavioral and cognitive side effects of treatments and medication\xe2\x80\xa2 Order supportive care services for patients
  • Order and interpret neurodiagnostic tests
  • Order and interpret diagnostic imaging
  • Perform Patient Procedures (ONBs, Botox, TPIs, and Prolotherapy)
  • SOAP notes for every encounter
Treatment Planning
  • Individual Patient Planning
  • Coordination of care with external providers
Additional Responsibilities:
  • Create Templates for clinical documentation
  • Engage in direct communication with clinical partners, clients, and vendors
  • Attend and participate in required meetings
  • Supervise Medical Assistant(s)
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • Active and unrestricted Physician Assistant (NCCPA accredited) license
  • Ability to perform independent Medical Assessments and Procedures
  • Ability to analyze data from medical records and examine findings to complete the
assessment and form medical opinions
  • Superior time management skills
  • Detail-oriented and provides accurate documentation in patient records
  • Must have a valid and unrestricted driver\xe2\x80\x99s license
  • Ability to travel 1-3 times per month to satellite locations
  • Maintains the highest level of confidentiality
