We are looking for a passionate and experienced

Piano Teacher

who enjoys working with younger students and is dedicated to providing high-quality music education. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in piano teaching, a friendly and engaging personality, and the ability to create a positive learning experience for students.

This is a

part-time/full-time

position, with flexible hours based on your availability.

Responsibilities:

Teach private piano lessons to students of varying skill levels, focusing primarily on younger learners. Develop personalized lesson plans to meet individual student goals and skill levels. Create a fun and engaging learning environment that keeps students motivated. Provide feedback to students and parents regarding progress and areas for improvement. Prepare students for recitals, competitions, or other performance opportunities. Maintain a professional and encouraging rapport with students and parents. Help foster a lifelong appreciation for music and piano playing.

Requirements:

Prior experience teaching piano to children and young students is

highly preferred

. Strong proficiency in piano and music theory. Ability to tailor lessons to students' needs and learning styles. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Dependable, punctual, and professional in conduct. Ability to work independently and manage lesson schedules. Bachelor's degree in music, music education, or a related field (preferred but not required).

$40 per hour

Schedule:

Flexible--set your own hours based on availability and student demand.

Location:

In-person lessons at 21100 Dulles Town Cir, Sterling, VA 20166.
