Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Pizza Cook to join our team. As a Pizza Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking delicious pizzas according to our recipes and customer preferences. Your attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment will contribute to the success of our restaurant. Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook pizzas, ensuring they are cooked to perfection and meet quality standards
- Follow recipes and portion guidelines to maintain consistency in taste and presentation
- Monitor food stock levels and inform management when ingredients need to be replenished
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen area, including food preparation surfaces and cooking equipment
- Assist with other kitchen duties as needed, such as food preparation, bussing tables, or washing dishes
- Provide excellent customer service by taking orders accurately and efficiently
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system to process orders and payments
- Adhere to all food safety and hygiene regulations to ensure the health and safety of customers Experience:
- Previous experience working in a pizza restaurant or similar food service establishment is preferred
- Knowledge of pizza making techniques, including dough stretching, sauce spreading, and topping placement
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment such as pizza ovens, mixers, and slicers
- Strong understanding of food handling procedures and safety precautions
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
