There is one (1) vacancy in the , , Development Plans & Zone Changes Branch. Your duties and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following: * Participate in the development and updates of long-range regional plans and special area plans.

  • Monitoring compliance with conditions of unilateral agreements (UAs) via reviewing and commenting on various applications and plans. Reviewing annual reports and updating staff monitoring reports for UAs.
  • Assists with reviewing affordable housing projects for compliance with applicable requirements pursuant to the UAs and Chapter 29 ROH, from the entitlement phase to the post-construction phase.
  • Independently reviewing, evaluating and drafting reports recommending action on proposals for zone change and zoning district boundary adjustment.
  • Conduct research by gathering and analyzing land use, economic, social and environmental data related to assigned projects.
  • Responding to inquiries and perform other related duties as assigned.
You must be knowledgeable about: * Principles, practices, purposes, and scope of techniques of the various phases of city planning;
  • Trends in Federal, State and local planning as they affect city planning;
  • Research methodology and statistical procedures;
  • Sources and uses of socio-economic information; and
  • State and local laws and ordinances related to city planning.
