Located in Honolulu, the position is responsible for supervising and coordinating several concurrent planning projects, studies and activities with responsibility to ensure the City continues to receive federal funding for capital projects, has input into the State and the Oahu Metropolitan Planning Organization Transportation Improvement Programs; and other related duties as required.Special Work Requirements:

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT:
Four years of professional work experience in transportation planning and/or engineering projects, one of which shall have been in a supervisory capacity.Such experience must have demonstrated knowledge of the principles, practices, purposes, scope and techniques of the various phases of city planning; trends in Federal, State and local planning as they affect city planning; research methodology and statistical procedures; sources and uses of socio-economic information; State and local laws and ordinances related to city planning; and the principles and practices of supervision.LICENSE REQUIREMENT:
