We are looking for a Plant Manager for our Birmingham, Alabama Plant. This role demands a proactive leader who can drive growth through efficient manufacturing processes while maintaining high safety and quality standards.Objective: Manage plant operations to achieve financial goals, improve productivity/quality/cost savings, and ensure safetyKey Responsibilities:

• Promote and enforce safety practices.
• Develop and implement monthly operating plans.
• Build a culture of accountability, safety, and operational excellence.
• Communicate organizational goals to all plant departments.
• Resolve operational issues and minimize delays.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for continuous improvement.
• Formulate policies affecting production schedules, quality, and costs.
• Lead new manufacturing initiatives for improved efficiency.
• Hire, coach, develop, and evaluate staff performance.
• Delegate work and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Perform other assigned duties.
• Ensure regular, full-time onsite attendance.

Education / Experience:

• Bachelors degree in Business Management, Engineering, or a technical field.
• 5 years of manufacturing leadership experience (preferably in metal processing and machining).
• Proven experience in developing strong operating teams.
• Solid labor relations experience.

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities:

• Working knowledge of ISO and API standards.
• Project management skills.
• High ethical standards.
• Strong organizational and planning skills.
• Strong communication and listening skills.
• Goal-oriented and aggressive self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset.
• Ability to think creatively and strategically.

Work Environment

• Conditions: Protected from weather but not temperature changes.

Physical Requirements

• Physical Exertion: Medium work, exerting up to 50 lbs occasionally and up to 30lbs frequently.
