Our Global Cybersecurity Data and Analytics team is tasked with gathering, processing, and analyzing data to provide meaningful insights for informed decision-making, strategic planning, and operational improvements. We create accurate reports, predictive models, and visualizations that help the organization achieve its objectives, enhance performance, and stay competitive. In addition, the data and analytics teams ensure data quality, compliance with regulations, and effective collaboration across departments. By leveraging advanced techniques and tools, they transform data into actionable intelligence that drives both short-term optimizations and long-term growth.

Job introduction

The Global Cybersecurity Data and Analytics team is seeking an innovative, collaborative Portfolio Product Owner to help build and grow our Data and Analytics practice. As the Portfolio Product Owner you will play a crucial role in defining and delivering innovative data-driven solutions that enhance our organization\'s cybersecurity posture. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to translate cybersecurity requirements into actionable user stories and guide the development process to ensure the successful delivery of key business outcomes.

The ideal candidate has experience with both diverse compliance, risk, & control frameworks and the lean/agile delivery of service-based products. Candidates must also have experience in defining and prioritizing product backlogs, collaborating across the organization to manage dependencies and shared customer requirements, setting standards for functions and delivery, and representing customers to the team. They will be responsible for articulating and translating the overall business vision into strategy and tactics for the Data and Analytics product set.

What you\xe2\x80\x99ll do

  • Collaboratively create product vision and alignment with strategic priorities with Global Cybersecurity leadership and other stakeholders. Contribute to the development of the portfolio vision. Communicate the vision as a product strategy to the squad/team and other squads/teams outside their portfolio & functional area as well as executive leadership.
  • Build the product roadmap and strategy based on ongoing input from stakeholders. Establish stakeholder expectations for delivery of services. Develop product level KPIs and empower the team to achieve them.
  • Own and maintain the product backlog with accountability for its contents, prioritization, and acceptance criteria. Accountable for clear, actionable user stories. Work daily with the agile working group clarifying business requirements, removing roadblocks, constantly communicating, and supporting alignment around product strategy. Participates in squad/team demos, retrospectives, and all other ceremonies.
  • Set priorities and actively participate in squad/team quarterly planning. Contribute to priorities for and actively participate in portfolio quarterly planning. Negotiate with internal and external squads/teams to set aligned priorities among squads/teams both within and outside the portfolio.
  • Ensure stakeholder engagement by acting as the primary point of contact between the cybersecurity team and development squads, ensuring clear communication and shared understanding. Engage with stakeholders to gather feedback, validate requirements, and incorporate user input.
  • Monitor the performance of cybersecurity data and analytics solutions, collecting relevant metrics and feedback for iterative improvements. Drive data-driven decision-making by leveraging analytics and insights to enhance product effectiveness.
Qualifications

Qualifications
  • Bachelors\xe2\x80\x99 degree in relevant field (business, computer science, humanities etc.). Master\'s degree preferred.
  • At least 10 years in business, technology, or consulting with 5+ years direct experience with agile teams.
  • Proven experience as a Product Owner or similar role, with a strong record of accomplishment of delivering cybersecurity products.
  • High level of proven business expertise needed to set clear priorities for product and understand business value impacts.
  • Develops strong stakeholder relationships and influencing across multiple organizational boundaries.
  • Demonstrated experience leading varied audiences through the development of complex ideas, issues, and designs to build consensus.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal and leadership skills.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity risk, IT compliance and/or financial services industry regulatory environment strongly preferred. Knowledge of insurance industry preferred.
