About the Role:

As a

Post Office Clerk

, you will be responsible for assisting customers with their postal needs, managing mail and packages, handling postage and freight, and providing top-tier customer service. This is an exciting opportunity to be a part of a hardworking, dedicated team and contribute to the smooth operation of the post office on the North Slope.

As a Post Office Clerk, you will:

Safety First:

Always adhere to safety protocols to maintain a secure work environment.

Customer Service:

Provide outstanding service by helping customers with mail processing, calculating postage, and assisting with general store sales.

Attention to Detail:

Handle important and valuable mail with care, ensuring proper postage and handling.

Team Player:

Work closely with team members to ensure smooth and efficient operations.

What We're Looking For:

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent, eligibility to work in the U.S., valid driver's license, and ability to lift 25 pounds unassisted.

Certifications:

Must pass pre-employment drug screening, Fit-for-Duty physical, and criminal background check.

Skills:

Strong interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills.

Additional:

Previous post office or administrative experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
