Summary: Responsible for planning, development and implementation of the Arkansas division (Hot Springs, Hot Springs Village, and Malvern) public relations activities, both external and internal and recruitment efforts. Works in conjunction with the Marketing and PR Coordinator to develop support materials and services for the Arkansas division and collaborates with the other divisions in the areas of communications, public relations, and recruitment.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Responsible for overseeing and measuring the success of:a comprehensive communications and public relations program that will enhance the Companyxe2x80x99s image and position within the marketplace and the general public, and facilitate internal and external communications; and,all Arkansas communications and public relations activities and materials including publications, media relations, and recruitment efforts.Maintain ongoing day-to-day, weekly, and monthly public relations and recruitment operations including presentations, newsletters, social media, database updates, analytics, and community events (day, evening, or weekends).Ensure articulation of Companyxe2x80x99s desired image and position, assure consistent communication of image and position throughout the Company, and assure communication of image and position to all constituencies, both internal and external.Coordinate media interest in the Company and ensure regular contact with target media and appropriate response to media requests.Act as the Companyxe2x80x99s backup representative with the media as authorized.Ensure that the Company regularly conducts relevant market research and coordinate and oversee this activity. Monitor trends.Seek out quality candidates through innovative strategies and sourcing candidates through databases and social media.Leads projects as assigned, such as cause-related marketing, recruitment efforts and special events.Other duties as deemed necessaryMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:Demonstrated skills, knowledge and experience in the design and execution of marketing, communications, and public relations activities.Strong creative, strategic, analytical, organizational, and personal sales skills.Demonstrated successful experience in making presentationsSocial media posting and messaging experienceProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.Commitment to working with shared leadership and in cross-functional teams.Strong oral and written communications skills.Ability to manage multiple projects at a time.Out-of-town, overnight travel maybe required approximately 10%-20% of the timePREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:Experience in marketing, communications, or public relations with demonstrated success, preferably in the not-for-profit or association sector.Bachelorxe2x80x99s degree in journalism, marketing, public relations preferred.Experience working with volunteers is desirable.Experience in recruiting.EMT/Paramedic experience is desirable.Proficiency in other creative design software.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS:Work irregular hours including after hoursWork under stressful conditions and under extreme pressuresWork in varying degrees of temperature (indoors and outdoors).Position requires sitting for approximately 4-6 hours per day and walking for 2 hours per day.Position requires light to moderate work with 50 pounds maximum weight to lift and carry.Position requires reaching, bending, stooping, and handling objects with hands and/or fingers, talking and/or hearing, and seeing.Manual and finger dexterityHand and eye coordinationCorrected vision and hearing to within normal range
