Job Locations: US-IA-Storm Lake Type: Full-Time Overview: Practice Support Specialist
Marathon Health is seeking a full-time Practice Support Specialist (PSS) to work collaboratively with our clinical team in Storm Lake, Iowa supporting Tyson from its near-site employer-sponsored health and wellness center.


Role highlights include:

• 40 hour per week position \xe2\x80\x95 no weekends required!
• Schedule: M,W,F 07:00am-04:00pm ; T, Th 09:00am-06:00pm

Responsibilities:

• Schedule and confirm patient appointments, check-ups and physician referrals
• Answer telephones and direct calls to appropriate staff
• Greet visitors, assess purpose of visit, and direct them to appropriate staff
• Compile and record medical charts, reports, and correspondence
• Ensure patient completes Privacy forms
• Check patients in and out
• Collect co-pays

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of front desk experience in a medical setting required
• Electronic Medical Record (EMR) experience required
• Attention to detail, ability to communicate effectively with patients and strong computer skills required
• You should want to work in an environment where health education and outreach is important to you and challenges you to make a difference
