• Willing to learn aspects of field computers, variable rate controllers, and GPS equipment used in the ag industry and provide seasonally relevant support for commonly used monitors as necessary (John Deere, Raven, Ag Leader, Precision Planting, etc.)
• Knowledgeable, or be willing to learn, the current 2020 Tri-State Fertilizer Recommendations for Corn, Soybeans, and Wheat
• Knowledgeable, or be willing to learn, nutrient management pertaining to current governmental programs offered in Northwest Ohio
• Assist in creating fertilizer recommendations for customers and helping them make informed business decisions by utilizing our software offerings while upholding 4R standards
• Assist Director of Agronomy Operations & Precision Services in developing grower crop plans, rotations, and product positioning by unlocking the potential of every acre while supporting individual customers\' goals
• Collect, analyze, and interpret data (yield, planting, as-applied, etc.) for year-end reviews with customers
• Ensure all items sold through the Precision Division are delivered, implemented, or installed timely
• Comfortable challenging customers and playing the role of a change agent to efficiently improve customer operations

• Be willing to assist with soil sampling as needed
• Assist in maintaining 4R standard of agronomy locations
• Understand Climate FieldView and be willing to provide support

Requirements:

• Must be willing to maintain or obtain a Certified Crop Advisor certification within 3 years of employment
• Associates Degree, 2+ years of previous Precision Agriculture experience, or equivalent
• Position requires a full range of body motion including bending, squatting and twisting
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and reach with hands and arms above shoulders
• Ability to handle multiple tasks
• Maintain an attitude that promotes teamwork within the cooperative and a favorable image of the cooperative
• Ability to adapt to and work longer and/or varied hours during busy season as the needs of the business dictate
• Customer-service focused
• Clean driving record
• Good computer skills

Miscellaneous Responsibilities & Preferred Experience:

• Stay-On Bonus available - Must stay at least 6 months to be eligible for a $1,000 bonus
• Limited overnight travel
• Standard work week is Monday through Friday; needs of the business may dictate exceptions to this standard
