ABM, a leading provider of integrated facility solutions, is looking for a Prep Cook.

Position Summary Details

This position is responsible for preparation and cooking of food served in all areas of the hospital including the retail cafeteria. Follows industry food handling standards when completing operational duties/tasks. May be assigned other tasks as required.

Responsibilities

• Food Preparation: Assist in the preparation of meals by measuring, cutting, and assembling ingredients according to recipes and guidelines. Prepare food items such as soups, sauces, vegetables, meats, and desserts.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, following proper sanitation procedures to ensure food safety. Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including proper handling and storage of food items.
• Assist in quality control measures by inspecting food items for freshness, taste, and presentation. Report any issues or concerns to the supervisor.
• Work collaboratively with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations, effective communication.

Requirements

• 6 Months or more of Cook experience.
• Open Availability
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Must be vaccinated for COVID
• Good verbal and written communication skills to interact with team members and understand instructions.
