Teacher Qualifications:
Understand and demonstrate the fundamental characteristics of a play-based curriculum.
Minimum of 12 postsecondary semester or equivalent units in early childhood education or child development completed, with passing grades, at an accredited or approved college or university. The units shall include courses that cover the general areas of child growth and development; child, family, and community, and ECE program/curriculum. Candidates with 6 qualifying ECE units and plans for continued enrollment until the required 12 ECE units have been completed will be considered. Your resume should detail the courses taken that fulfill this requirement along with the units you plan to enroll in.
2 Years experience teaching in a play-based preschool preferred
