About the RoleAs a Preschool Teacher at Merryhill School, you're responsible for creating a safe and nurturing learning environment for children. You will provide a warm, caring, joyful environment that encourages preschoolersxe2x80x99 natural curiosity, and instills confidence in their innate abilities.You will alsoxe2x80xa6

• Plan, supervise and implement curriculum of reading, writing, and math
• Collaborate with other faculty and staff members
• Communicate daily with parents or guardians
• Maintain a well-organized and engaging classroom environment

What We Are Looking For

• Educational background with 12 semesters or 18 quarter early childhood education units shall include courses that cover the general areas of early child development, child, family, and community, and program/curriculum or a bachelorxe2x80x99s degree in child development
• Patience, compassion, and a genuine love for working with young children.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Prior teaching experience with young students is preferred
