We are a team focused on gold standard customer service and professional growth with competitive benefits and profit-sharing plans and help support a business model that gives back to the community of shareholders.Summary:The President oversees all aspects of business development and business operations to ensure the success of Goldbelt Shield by achieving growth targets, exceeding financial budgets, realizing customer delivery excellence, ensuring adherence to policies and procedures, mentoring staff members, and working closely with Goldbelt senior leadership to implement the vision of Goldbeltxe2x80x99s Board of Directors.Responsibilities:Essential Job Functions:

  • Develop and implement a strategic plan to advance the companyxe2x80x99s mission, objectives, and to promote revenue growth, profitability, and maturity as an organization.
  • Grow the business by building and leading a high-performing business development team focused on opportunities that are aligned to Goldbelt Shieldxe2x80x99s target agencies and core services.
  • Build a business network to achieve Goldbelt Shieldxe2x80x99s business objectives using personal contacts, special events, and other methods.
  • Oversee company operations to ensure delivery excellence, planned profitability, and efficient utilization of corporate resources.
  • Establish and implement measurement tools to monitor and track performance of all departments to verify outcomes that are in alignment with budgets and strategic objectives.
  • Review activity reports and financial statements to determine status in attaining objectives and revise methods and plans in accordance with current conditions.
  • Manage and direct departmental supervisors and staff, overseeing activities to ensure smooth operations of all departments and unify interdepartmental collaboration efforts required for the successful operation of the business.
  • Establish and maintain close working relationships with corporate and subsidiary management and those representatives of the private and public sectors deemed important to the operations.
  • Evaluate performance of employees for compliance with established policies and objectives of the company and contributions in attaining objectives.
  • Promote the company to local, regional, national, and international constituencies.
  • Present company reports at Member Shareholder and Goldbelt Board of Director meetings.
  • Responsible for the final selection and delegation of authority to all subordinate supervisors under his/her direction; enforce policies and procedures established by the company, and state and local laws.
  • Interview, hire, evaluate, lead, and manage supervisors and employees at all levels while promoting teamwork, respect, and excellence.
Qualifications:Necessary Skills and Knowledge:
  • A strong background in the full Federal Acquisition and Contract Delivery Lifecycle is required with a demonstrated ability to leverage existing Government and Industry relationships aligned with Goldbelt Shieldxe2x80x99s target markets.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify, qualify, and win Federal contracts across socio-economic business classifications (8(a), Small Business, HUBZone, and Unrestricted)
  • Knowledge of contracting, negotiating, government accounting, and program management.
  • Working and leading harmoniously within cross-functional teams to achieve common objectives.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and diplomatically, both verbally and in writing, with co-workers and with outside agencies, partners, shareholders, and business associates.
  • Ability to develop financial plans and manage resources.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret financial data.
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Working knowledge of accounting systems and ability to analyze data for accurate forecasting and financial reporting purposes.
  • Skill in establishing and maintaining cooperative working relationships with employees.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelorxe2x80x99s degree in business administration or a related field.
  • Ten (10) years' experience in a leadership role for a large engineering division or company.
  • Ten (10) years' supervisory experience.
  • Experience with the full Federal Acquisition lifecycle and demonstrated experience in winning contracts related to engineering and other technical and professional services.
  • Experience in strategic planning and execution.
  • Experience in full P&L responsibility.
  • Experience in formulating policy and developing and implementing new strategies and procedures.
  • Any equivalent combination of experience, training, and/or education to successfully perform the duties and responsibilities of the job.
  • Ability to successfully pass a background and credit check.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a government clearance (Secret to Top Secret).
  • A Valid Driverxe2x80x99s License and an acceptable driving record.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's in Business Administration (MBA).
  • Previous experience working with Alaska Native Corporations (ANCs) and/or previous exposure to Alaska Native cultures.
  • Previous government contracting experience.
The salary range for this position is $201,700.00 - $225,000.00 annually.Pay and Benefits
