About the role:
This role will provides support to the Global Capital Equipment Technical Services (CETS) Finance and Business team and help the business achieve the goals and objectives of Boston Scientific and the CETS through the effective management of the CETS Allocation, planning, analysis and reporting of Global spend activities including driving OH improvement projects, driving margin improvements and overhead spend leverages with revenue growth. In addition this role will also support integration activities on new acquisition, perform new product analysis and cost of service projections and other ad hoc duties as they arise. The ideal candidate possesses strong relationship building and communication skills.
Your responsibilities will include:
\xe2\xa6\x81 Subject Matter Expert and key finance partner for United States and EMEA CETS cost center spend and HC, including in depth analysis for payroll and other spend categories and variance analysis to plan and forecast scenarios.
\xe2\xa6\x81 Management and Reporting of $97M Global CETS Allocation including supporting planning and forcasting activities, mgmt. of currency impacts.
\xe2\xa6\x81 Key lead for all activities pertaining to acquisition integration of new businesses into CETS organization from understanding product plans, to modelling COS, coordinating with Divisional partners on global financial results and roll up.
\xe2\xa6\x81 Financial lead for all service modelling related to new product introductions including regional introductions and business partnering with the internal sales, SDE and project teams. Also responsible for highlighting any risk to Standard and Target Margins on service contracts.
\xe2\xa6\x81 Supports the CETS Global VIP Program by participating and being the key provider and approver of financial information in partnership with the broader team
\xe2\xa6\x81 Supports the engineering team with Capital Expenditure management and monthly reporting and ensuring compliance to BSC polices on capital thresholds and audit requirements
\xe2\xa6\x81 Supports the US monthly close process and completes any applicable journal entries and reconciliations as required for accurate GAAP reporting
\xe2\xa6\x81 Drive continued improvements in various finance reporting processes leveraging new technologies such as Tableau / Power BI
\xe2\xa6\x81 Subject Matter Expert on Finance related policies and processes and partner with Division Finance Partners and Corporate Accounting on same
\xe2\xa6\x81 Ensures awareness and compliance with applicable standard operating procedures to meet, comply and champion all quality and regulatory commitments of Boston Scientific.
Required qualifications:
\xe2\xa6\x81 Bachelor\'s degree in Finance or Accounting
\xe2\xa6\x81 5-7+ years of relevant experience
\xe2\xa6\x81 Excellent attention to detail and data accuracy
\xe2\xa6\x81 Very strong analytical skills
\xe2\xa6\x81 Strong oral and written communication skills
\xe2\xa6\x81 Background and experience in integrated ERP systems (preferably SAP)
\xe2\xa6\x81 Experience in reporting & analytical tools such as Tableau, Adaptive Planning desirable
