Principal Software Engineer (TypeScript)

$140,000 - $160,000 + Training + Progression + Excellent Company Benefits

Are you a Principal Software Engineer with TypeScript experience, looking to shape a market-leading organization, offering specialist technical training and the opportunity to develop a team of 6 Software Engineers?

On offer is a fantastic opportunity to play a key part at a well-respected organization and put your own stamp on their software department.

This company is going from strength to strength, having recently acquired two companies to aid in the manufacturing process of their market-leading products. They are now looking for a Principal Software Engineer to take a technical lead on developing, testing, and maintaining scalable backend services.

In the first week of this role, you will travel to Texas or Pennsylvania for 1 on 1 training with the VP. Once you are brought up to speed, you will be leading a team of 6 software engineers and work hands on to build and maintain backend components of a SaaS platform hosted on AWS. You will then ensure high performance and scalability of the platform.

The Role:

The Person:

• Experience with TypeScript, GraphQL, Angular & Apollo
• Leadership experience with a focus on backend engineering
• Experience with AWS, Docker and Kubernetes
