2 children, but likely will only be care for 1 child at a time. Immediately the need would be for an almost 4yo boy with cancer-- medical care not needed, just nanny care, but someone willing to work on preschool educational activities with him as well since he can't attend preschool as planned during this time. Come fall, the 2yo daughter will need care in the afternoons, but the hope is that the boy will be back in school by then and it would just be care for the 2yo.
Hours:
Should be no more than 30 hours-- immediately the desire would be for 3 days a week for 10 hours each, and in the fall when it's just the 2yo, it would be 5 days a week 12-5. The most important is coverage for their son immediately, so please apply even if you can't do the fall schedule and just let us know in a message. The 3 days are flexible.
Commitment:
Long term-- hoping for someone 1+ year but understand someone may not be able to switch from 3 full days to 5 half days.

Ideal Nanny:
A nanny with some education background willing to work on preschool level learning, has a warm touch, friendly , good communication, loving type of nanny (Parents say he can be hard to warm up). Someone very hands on who will provide fun opportunities. Someone who can be flexible with his schedule as his treatment days may vary; but the family will try their best to keep the schedule consistent.
Requirements:
CPR/First Aid Certification (or willing to get it prior to job start), covid vaccine, flu shot, and Tdap. Drivers license and own car (family will provide gas mileage reimbursement and car seats)
